I forgot I was guessmaster here.  All good guesses for riverside state routes, but nobody has it so far!  Nobody has guessed along the right river, either, as a hint.

Correct!  We're looking at the Fox River, which is accompanied by a bike trail from Oswego all the way up to Algonquin.  As I grew up in Oswego, I used this bike trail many times (once they finally extended it south from Aurora to Oswego).

Welcome to the corn state - Indiana. What state route is this?

Bonus points if the US route is identified correctly as well

That was... more obvious... than I thought. I would've thought people would guess Bloomington but ehhhhhh

When I used to drive for a dispatch trucking company out of Cincinnati, I had four or five deliveries in the Madison area--one of them at the Clifty Creek Power Plant.  Anyway, I remembered that area looked familiar, mainly because of the divided highway that used to be just US 421 until IN 56 was rerouted out of the downtown Madison area a few years ago.  I checked on GSV and found I was correct.

I'm from Madison - I frequent 421 when I go downtown instead of using Michigan Road or 7 because it's closer to where I've lived.
