In any case, the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign is 4 miles away from the actual Las Vegas city limits, and is actually located in Paradise, so it probably counts.
The Texas welcome center at Waskom, Texas, includes a scaled down replica Texas welcome sign. My guess is it's so you can take a picture with it instead of the giant one on the freeway at the actual state line.
This is sort of notable because it's actually the design that was used in the 90s, not the present-day version of the sign. The only difference is that the older one has "Welcome to Texas" set in Kaufmann, while the present-day one uses Brush Script MT (which comes pre-installed on Windows).
