There's a convenience store/gas station in Heavener, OK that has excellent chicken strips.  It is a "Finish Line" branded store.  You can get 3 strips, 3 potato logs, a roll, and a 20 ounce Coke for less than $5, and it is amazing.  I stop there almost every time I drive from Tulsa to Mena.

I've run into quite a few places like that. Oftimes if I am traveling and happen to stop at some convenience store for gas or a restroom break, I'll get chicken strips and tater wedges if they have a hot bar. Chester Fried Chicken is usually really good if you can find a place that carries it.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Steak and Shake is OK, but Eddie's Drive In on US 50 in Sedalia, Missouri has better steakburgers.
