Currently mostly cloudy 90, heat index 101, humidity 62%, dewpoint 75.
Monday high 96, heat index 111+.
All week expecting highs mid to upper 90, lows in the mid to upper 90s
We moved from DE in 1980, people here told us "you'll get used to the heat & humidity" ---> BS!
Thank God for a/c

Yep. I've lived in GA for all but two years of my life and can confirm that you never really get used to it.

High of 96 here today with the heat index climbing into the upper 100s, with more of the same expected tomorrow and Wednesday.

On and off showers and t-storms. Low 80s. Running in the rain today felt soo good after running in 100 degree heat indices the past few days.

That's why I get up at 4:30 AM for a good distance run, 65-70F is infinitely more tolerable than 100-110F.  107F in Fresno today, made worse by all the farmers turning their crops and kicking dirt into the air everywhere.  That 73F in Lompoc and Santa Barbra from two days ago is sorely missed already.

I'm in the Berkshires, where it is warm and 80s.

During off season practices throughout summer break I started running around 6 AM. Now that the season has started I start at 3PM.The humidity is unbearable here. They could have practice before school, but personally I would rather run in the heat then get up and go to school almost two hours early every day.

Personally I've always liked the runners high early in the day.  Especially on work days (which is when I run 90% of the time) getting a good run in followed by 35-40 minutes lifting can really make a difference in terms of being in a good mood.  I used to run and lift at night but I always felt run down after work or even school back in those days.  There is something also night about being out in the dark for a solid 90-120 minutes when nobody else is around that is kind of peaceful.

84° F here (Wichita) right now, expected high of 93° F, supposed to be 101° F on Tuesday.  I think we have had only seven 100° F days so far this season, unlike 2011 when we had 52 total, but in terms of humidity this has been an intensely unpleasant summer, with evening dewpoints generally around 75° F.

Set a record high in Denver today--99. Beat the old record by two.

*Edited to reflect that the high actually got up to 99 instead of 98.

It was pretty hot and humid yesterday, and now much of western and central Iowa is under a severe thunderstorm watch overnight:

Primary threat is severe wind, although severe hail is also a possibility.
