Title: Roadgeeking Broadway (NYC)
Post by: Hot Rod Hootenanny on October 27, 2022, 06:16:02 PM
Evidently there is a Broadway play about Robert Moses that started yesterday.
It is called 'Straight Line Crazy' and stars Ralph Fiennes (Schindler's list) as Robert Moses.
The New York Times had a review of it's opening, today:

Performances are sold out, so you have to go on a wait-list to see the play.

No. It's in Griffin Theater, at 42nd and 10th, more Lincoln Tunnel than Broadway. But it's a play.

There was also a piece this past Sunday morning on Sunday Morning, half about Moses himself and half about the play:

I would love to clinch Broadway myself from the end in Westchester to South Ferry. However due to the one ways and pedestrian malls at both Herald and Times Squares, it would be impossible for a one trip continuous trip.

I would have to split it up, but maybe walk again some of it in Midtown and drive it from Columbus Circle north to Tarrytown in Westchester County.  As far as south of Midtown I've been on it in car and on foot from Times Square to The Battery more times than I can remember. So really in essence, I just need north of Times Square.
