2di: I-75
3di: I-675 (Michigan)
The entirety of I-75?
Yep been up to Sault Ste. Marie plenty of times and been to Miami on it several times as well.

That sounds like maybe a dozen times. Are you sure there aren't other interstates that you've clinched more times, like some of the other 3dis in Michigan?

That's the 2di he has clinched the most, it says that in his post.

My bad, wasn't thinking about the fact that 2di's and 3di's were separate.

(I guess my point being that I-75 isn't necessarily #2 on the overall combined list; there could be quite a few 3di's on the list before you get to any 2di's.)

I've been to Florida and back six times in the last year and a half alone.
Heh.  Spreadin' the virus... :D
I've stayed away from people for the most part. During the early stages of the pandemic it was rather easy to get down I-75 and back up to Michigan with minimal traffic.

More to the world than Florida and clinching I-75 six times over, if you didn't have to head down there to meet anybody.  That said, I know there are people that just like going to the same place again and again.
I somehow got suckered into taking this job of driving this trailer to and from Florida and I get paid pretty good for it so I don't mind doing it. So this was four trips I drive this trailer down to Florida in January and drive it back to Michigan in April but I fly back in January and fly down in April. Still no I have all of I-75 clinched multiple times as I've driven back and forth to Florida several times.

Honestly I've had I-75 clinch since the late 1990s. Actually in 1995 I went down to spring break I remember and my dad missed the exit for I-475 so I had the stretch in Macon between the both ends of I-475 clinched back then.
Heh.  That's a good gig.

2di roads - I've probably clinched I-43 at least a half dozen times driving from St Louis to my family in Green Bay.

3di roads - Who cares?

I spent a year commuting from one end of I-189 to the other and I often went home on my lunch break, so there were multiple days in which I clinched it four times.

2di is probably the eastern I-84 since that's the only one I can think of where I've been on each end of it multiple times. Pre-COVID I would fairly regularly drive between Burlington and Boston, but I've only crossed the Canadian border on I-89 once.
2dis clinched: 8, 17, 69(original), 71, 72, 78, 81, 84(E), 86(E), 88(E), 89, 91, 93, 97

Little connecting freeways that you can hardly help but clinch if you drive them:

California:
I-380
I-505
I-238

Oregon/Washington:
I-205
I-82

Funnily enough. I-238 is the closest short Interstate to my house. I clinch it every time that I drive on it, but I am probably in single digits. See my post on I-205, I-505, and I-210 elsewhere in this thread.

I-470 in Kansas or I-470 in Missouri.  I'm not sure which one, but at least I'm sure of the number.

I have all the Interstate's in Michigan clinched but I'm pretty sure I've clinched I-75 more than I have I-96 even though I-96 is a much, much shorter Interstate. I don't have I-94 clinched and now I guess I can say I don't have I-69 clinched anymore since it now exists south of Indy. I do have the Port Huron to Indy (the original I-69) clinched though.

I-69 would probably be second on my list for 2di's followed by I-96.

I-375 or I-475 would be next on my 3di list. I-375 is so short that you can clinch that without even really trying and I-475 serves as a good alternate to I-75 bypassing the US-23 to I-69 stretch.

I-675 which I mentioned is above I-75, I-275, I-375, I-475, I-496 and I-696 are all higher than I-75 too as well as maybe even I-280 in Toledo.

I-75 is a pain to clinch though mainly because of the distance involved but the traffic adds to the nightmare especially around Atlanta, Cincinnati and Detroit. By the time you get to Miami there are other highways to contend with and I never really knew where I-75 ended on the south end until recently. I've been over the International Bridge in the Soo a few times but honestly I don't have too many 2di's clinched.

2di-Never clinched

3di- I-780, I-305, I-680 and I-280.

3-digit, in order from most to least (all of these at least 10): 471 (Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky), 280 (Toledo: used for any trips from Detroit to the northeast), 270 (Denver), 238 & 205 (NorCal: I had a consulting gig in Modesto for a few years and always flew into SFO and drove).

2-digit has to be the western 76.  I'd guess that's up to around 20 times over the years.  74 is likely next, something like 3 clinches of that (did Cinci-Indy a lot but didn't do Peoria-Davenport that much).

(I've lived in Detroit, State College PA, Cincinnati and Denver, FWIW.  Despite living in Detroit, I don't think I have 10+ clinches at all of 275, 696 of 375 --- although all of them have been at least once)
