Is Maryland 90 near Ocean City still a super 2?

Also, I think US 51 near Tomahawk, WI was at one point, though it may now be upgraded for a future I-39.

I know the Polk Parkway (TOLL Florida 570) has a super-2 section between Exit 18 (Old Dixie Highway) and Exit 24 (Interstate 4).  Construction to upgrade it to a full four-lane limited access is taking place and should be complete late 2009 or 2010.  The right-of-way is already bought so there will be no issues with acquiring additional land to build it to capacity.

Three that I originally saw as super twos have since been twinned. They were U.S. 15 on the Gettysburg bypass, U.S. 15 near Tioga Dam, and Pennsylvania 147 south of Interstate 80/180.

A part of the Spaulding Turnpike is still a super-two in New Hampshire, thats all I can think of on short notice.

South Fulton Parkway (also signed, on certain portions, as SR 14 Conn., US 29 Alt./SR 14 Alt. and SR 70), just west of its four lane end.

Yes Maryland 90 is a super two. It has some at-grade intersections too.

A small portion of CA 154 in Santa Barbara, CA is a super-2, right at CA 190.  I think it's the last super-2 in California.

There's another one... I'm trying to remember what it is... Ahh yes, CA-37, Sears Point Rd. in Vallejo

I'm trying to remember with Maryland 90--I've been down that road a few times, but it's been at least 10 years, and I remember my cousin and I were too busy giggling at the "Assawoman Bay" sign on the bridge.  (Yes, that's really what it's called.)

Many of the good Super-2s here in Oregon are actually county roads.  A prime example of this is Ehlen/Yergen/McKay Road in Marion County, which runs between OR-219 south of Newberg to OR-99W in Aurora, with an interchange with I-5 (Exit 278) about halfway through.  Has very wide shoulders, though the rail crossing near I-5 is a little . . . interesting, to say the least.  It also, curiously, has functioning Weigh Stations.

US 167 around the east side of El Dorado, AR is a Super-2 from AR-7 to US 82.

mightyace

According to the official 2007 PA map, the US 220 bypass around Towanda is still a super 2.

In Washington State:

US-101 from the SR 3 junction to just south of SR 102 in Shelton, and then US-101 again in the Sequim area.

I think the Shelton one has unused ROW

I don't know of any in Wyoming or Idaho

101 is only 2 there?

corco

Yep

101 goes from 4 lane expressway to fully controlled access super-2 at the SR 3 junction

Voyager

That's in the Port Angeles area, right?
Back From The Dead | AARoads Forum Original

corco

The Shelton one is down south by Olympia.

The Sequim one is definitely a super-2 and is near Port Angeles. If you're heading west on 101 from Sequim to port Angeles it goes:

east of Sequim- 2 lanes
Sequim- Super 2
west of Sequim- 2 lanes
Port Angeles- 4 lane no control

corco

Actually that's not true. It goes straight from Super 2 to four lane no control

Voyager

Wasn't it planned to be extended?

RI 78 and US 7 in Vermont are both Super 2s that I've driven.

Parts of MA 2 west of 220 is as well.

US 36 and a few other roads in Kansas are listed as a Super 2.

So is a Kentucky parkway whose name escapes me.

The Daniel Boone (Hal Rogers) is a Super 2, and the east half of the Mountain Parkway in KY is a Super 2 (though I think the MP has a couple at-grade-ish intersections in its Super 2 time).

John

US-12 west of Helena is a Super-2, although it does have some turn offs here and there.
They came, they went, they took my image...

The planned U.S. 301 toll road around Middletown, Delaware will have a super two spur northward to the Summit Bridge.

PAHighways

US 220 between Business US 220 and the Bedford (Business US 30) interchange.  The Towanda Bypass (US 220) and McConnellsburg Bypass (US 30) are two lane but not built on four lane ROWs.  The latter does widen to four lanes at the US 522 interchange.

vdeane

US 6 between MA 134 and MA 6A is a super-2.

US 20 in IL has some of that.  Between Freeport and Rockford
