Another month has come to an end, which means it is time for headlines. Here's the monthly headlines post for discussion: https://cahighways.org/wordpress/?p=15913

There are a lot of project updates, and a few pages that I uncovered while doing my highway site rework during July. So what from these articles stands out to you? What is worhty of discussion? I'd love to know.

As you've probably noticed, I've been doing a lot on the highway pages of late (given that I've had less to do on the weekends with live theatre shut down). I've also been involved with some Kerfuffles on FB in some highway groups, speaking up for a long time friend and fellow roadgeek. More on that tomorrow, when I post a normal round of highway page updates (i.e., headlines, legislative, and CTC actions).

OK. Ready, set, discuss.

Looking forward to the I-605/I-5 improvements (though not the snarls that will result during the construction). I do that route a lot as the back way to LAX and the section on SB I-605 between I-5 and I-105 is always hideous.

The drop to 3 GP lanes through the I-5 interchange on I-605 is the biggest bottleneck here IMO. Both directions always open up past the interchange as the dropped lane is added back in.
