85 is correct

I am stunned that it took someone this long to throw in SH-130. I get it if it was like the Golden Gate Bridge or something (super recognizable), but most of that road is as mundane as any Texas freeway. You'd really have to know it, to know it.

^ Haven't we had at least one SH-130 entry previously?

I was wondering if the last one might be TX-130, but decided to go with a safer guess at 70, since so many states top out there. Guess I'll post one then.

webny99

Since you mention 70, how about 70 mph for this one?

Maybe it's because I'm a Texan, but TX-130 has an interesting ambience that is easily recognizable IMO. The trees are cut back far away from the road, sight lines are great despite the road curving and twisting, it is very hilly, and the median is among the widest you may see. The closest analogue to the landscape I can find is the H.E. Bailey Turnpike, but that road looks nothing like TX-130.

I tend to agree with you here. It actually occurred to me right away that it could be TX-130. I didn't rule it out, but thought it looked kind of Midwestern, while also being more likely to have a very high limit than a very low one, reflected in my guess of 80 mph.

That touches a bit more on what I was trying to say. It's not identical to every freeway in Texas, but nothing stands out about it specifically that yells "130". 130 may be recognizable to those who drive it or have seen it on Street View (even the most mundane roads are somewhat recognizable for those who are familiar with it), but there's nothing truly unique about it. The trees, the curves...it's just a rural freeway that just so happens to be posted at 85!

Yep that's it! It's US-95 in Winnemucca, NV. A little ways before this picture, it drops from 70 to 55, then 45, then to 35. But IMO, the 35 zone stretches way too far, still feels like you're in the middle of nowhere for a while, should be 45-55 in this particular location probably.
