Title: James Bay Road - Quebec
Post by: Dougtone on January 29, 2011, 12:17:17 PM
An interesting article about driving up the James Bay Road in Quebec, in the middle of winter.  There's some pictures too, including a stop sign written in the Cree language.

That's a route I'll want to clinch in the future. But I think I'd rather do that during the summer.

James Bay name tossed; mythical road had its name changed to honour Billy Diamond.

Billy Diamond was the grand chief of Waskaganish cree community and president for the Cree Regional Administration, a regional government instated following the James Bay Agreement he negociated with the federal and provincial government.
