sad to say, temps aren't above normal. this is now normal. used to be we cooled off in september, now we're in the 80's well into november.

at least its cooling off at night now. last night it was like 52.

I was just thinking...this has been a weird year for weather.  First, southeast Texas, where I live, had a winter storm and multiple days of freezing temps...and didn't really warm up until late May.  Then, while the PNW was enduring a sweltering heat wave, it only broke 100 here maybe once or twice.  It was hot, sure, but not nearly as bad as the last few years have been. Now, its only mid September and its so nice outside..its 79 right now

Welcome to the new norm for September. 3 of the past 4 years we've had upper 80s/low 90s high temperatures going into late September here and that trend will continue this year.
