This Road is In Pennsylvania- Jake Landis Rd, Route 222: Does anyone know why this road is named or the significance of this road. If not, how might one find this information?

You mean PA 222 in Allentown or US 222 West of Allentown.

Within close proximity is Landis Valley.  Landis being the name of the family who farmed the area, I presume.  Jake was most likely a member of said family.  Why he got a road named after him I'm not sure.  I used to go to the Lancaster area quite often and I remember seeing the road on the map.
