Look at what i found lurking under the span in a storage area, a brand new cash/EZ Pass sign

In the distance you can see the Betsy Ross Bridge, and the Delair Bridge, and barely visible the Ben Franklin Bridge

A bit of a walkway review

First, it is a lot easier to walk than the ben franklin, due to the lack of a steep incline over the span, it only goes to 61 feet above high tide, Versus 135 Feet for the suspension span.

Sights: well... the ben franklin bridge wins due to it being near center city so you get to see the waterfront stuff from it. The tacony palmyra drops you into a more industrial part of the city.

Walkway Quality: I like the walkway on the tacony bridge a lot better, despite the noise of traffic over the concrete deck which has a serraded quality across it for grip. The bridge itself is more interesting, due to it being a pony truss, truss arch with solid girders for hangers, and a pony truss draw span, versus a suspension bridge where you are walking ontop of the truss and above the traffic. The wooden planks on the movable span were a nice touch, you would expect them to do that or use open grate for weight.
