Picked up 479, 499, 504, and 545 over the past two weeks, so 549 is now my lowest-untraveled number.

I've actually had 549 before, temporary designation for I-49 in Arkansas which is in the works, although it may not count considering it's a temporary designation.
I take pictures of road signs, that's about it.

General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.

Back to PA for 549, 550, 551, 553, 554, and 555.   ;-)

Update 10.05.2021

My lowest is still 39, even though I have a picture of the Arkansas route shield, but it's not the same thing. If I did get it, my next lowest would be 47. I have a photo of MO 47 but again, not the same thing.

39, 47, 48, 54, 56, 58, 68, 83, 94 and 97 are still missing under 100 for me.
If your lowest number did not change, then there is no update.

County highway touchers rise to the top. :D

I made sure to clinch all 13 miles of CR 479. (Can't really say the same about New Jersey's CR 533). The other four gap numbers were state-maintained.

Rule 26: if someone can count Vermont 26, then anything's allowable.

26 isn't a short route. It's a long route that ends just the tiniest bit past the state line.
Clinched, plus MA 286

Traveled, plus several state routes

Lowest untraveled: 25 (updated from 14)

New clinches: MA 286
New traveled: MA 14, MA 123

The part in Vermont is only 69 feet long; my point is that could be counted by itself.

My plan to get 102 is to do VA/WV 102 after the extension of the King Coal Hwy opens.

I believe after that I will jump to 198 after that which I can get in MD or VA much easier than in PA.

So I found NY 102 yesterday as part of my non-attendance (and attendance) at the Atlantic Beach Meet.  Put me at 198 unless I state otherwise.

EDIT (10-13-2021):  I was able to clarify that I am at 198.

For me it's 2. I have driven right past NC-2 on US-1 many times, but I've never ventured into Pinehurst. NC-5 is also in the Pinehurst area, along with the eastern terminus of NC-73, a road I'd like to complete. I have already driven the entirety of it west of the Pee Dee River. Also, there is the huge roundabout in Pinehurst. Definitely doing a full loop on that!
Keep right (not middle) except to pass!

Rothman

Mid and low range movements in the pack...10 roadgeeks stuck at 2.  I believe MA 2 was my first touch there at a young age (6 or so).

So many roadgeeks stuck at 2. And I have one readily available less than a hour from me :sombrero:.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Hot Rod Hootenanny

In traveling from New York (the state) to Pennsylvania today, I picked off 192, 200, 214, & 216.
My new lowest is now 217
(and gets me back in front of 74/171 fan, Jayhawk, and Paul's maps)
Please, don't sue Alex & Andy over what I wrote above

I would have been stuck at 14 from age 13 till age 25 (and the beginnings of roadfan.com). But that's pre internet and digital roadgeek discovery.

There's a KY 214 in far south-central Kentucky. Don't know of anything that would be closer.

Got all the routes I thought I would on my road trip as far as this "contest" is concerned.  Up to 361 for the lowest I haven't been on.  There was CT361 within 45 minutes of my drive today, but I elected to pass it by to get more interstate mileage instead.  I'll get it eventually, somewhere.
