I orignally saw this on some show on the Discovery Channel, if you rub a 9volt battery it'll start sparks which if you blow will start a fire

the real challenge is making fire out of naturally found objects.  unless genetic engineering has really taken off since the last time I paid attention, 9 volt batteries do not grow on trees.  a pity, because the countryside is overrun by steel sheep.

I don't know about that; my family farms 9 volt batteries, and makes damn good living doing it too.
