I know I have a TN 30 that I can play.

Did the rules change - 24 hours or 5 posts?

We don't have that rule here.

VA 31

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

If we can keep it in the south for a little while, I can bring Georgia into the game at 34.

paulthemapguy

We might be able to pull off NC 32 >> SC 33 >> GA 34.  Be wary of states containing US33, they probably won't be playable for a state route 33.

Sorry about that...

No worries!!  MD 32 >> PA 33

This is much better than whatever I suggested.  This might be our chance to get into New England--if we enter through New York, remember, we'll have to exit through New York as well.

NY 36 >> MA 37

I'm aware of a 38 in NY and VT.  (NH 38 will be hard to back out of)

MA 39 exists on the Cape, but I'm not sure if anyone has a picture.

On the other hand, we can't get into Maine and successfully back out until 86.

I forgot to mention: next available Rhode Island possibility is RI 78. (RI 51 and RI 77 are impossible to get to.)

How is a state highway impossible to get to?

CT 50 and MA 50 do not exist. Same with 76.

There is no CT-50, CT-76, MA-50, or MA-76.  Hence, we cannot get to RI-51 or RI-77 in this game.

While y'all are up in that area, beware the upcoming US 44. Using CT 43, for instance, would result in a dead end.

We should be able to get to Illinois in seven moves easily enough, opening up the Midwest.  Most of these intersect Interstate highways, so there are bound to be pictures floating around:
NJ-41 | PA-42 | OH-43 | IN-44 | MI-45 | IN-46 | IL-47

From there, the surrounding 48s are fairly minor highways, but Iowa seems somewhat likely.

I would rather go NJ-41 | DE-42 | PA-43, as Delaware opportunities are fairly rare.
