I am having trouble finding an answer to this. In NC, the DMV (license plate and registration) is run by private third-party vendors. I'm trying to find a list of the companies contracted to provide these services. I don't know if it varies by county or if it's one Organization. I guess I don't know how these services are classified so I'm struggling to narrow and identify it. I was hoping someone can help. Some resources:
