Inspired by @Henry's 2di bracket challenge from a couple of months ago, this is a similar bracket challenge to his, except with 3 digit interstates. Directions will be similar; you choose the winner of each matchup and results will be announced every Sunday. The 3di with more votes will advance. Final Four match-ups will be similar to his challenge (and the 2020 March Madness): East vs Midwest and South vs West. Future 3di (like I-369 and I-905) aren't included.
Here's the setup for the bracket (route lengths are from this Wikipedia page, with the distance in miles of all the present variants of each 3di number added up):

EAST:
I-295 (301.34) vs Play-in winner
I-495 (267.11) vs I-276 (29.78)
I-476 (129.61) vs I-695 (33.97)
I-287 (98.72) vs I-278 (35.62)
I-195 (92.64) vs I-490 (39.83)
I-376 (78.70) vs I-264 (48.00)
I-395 (76.34) vs I-190 (52.39)
I-390 (76.06) vs I-290 (59.80)

MIDWEST:
I-275 (182.34) vs Play-in winner
I-270 (143.47) vs I-255 (30.82)
I-435 (80.81) vs I-469 (30.83)
I-196 (80.65) vs I-355 (32.51)
I-294 (53.42) vs I-470 (37.13)
I-475 (53.19) vs I-271 (40.22)
I-465 (52.79) vs I-494 (42.94)
I-480 (46.67) vs I-675 (45.29)

SOUTH:
I-285 (86.78) vs Play-in winner
I-840 (83.05) vs I-440 (34.37)
I-165 (74.58) vs I-235 (35.66)
I-185 (67.00) vs I-540 (41.71)
I-485 (66.68) vs I-385 (42.16)
I-410 (49.49) vs I-610 (42.49)
I-155 (48.06) vs I-240 (45.03)
I-635 (45.90) vs I-269 (45.19)

WEST:
I-280 (114.46) vs Play-in winner
I-405 (105.98) vs I-605 (27.40)
I-580 (105.72) vs I-805 (28.02)
I-680 (103.44) vs I-505 (32.98)
I-135 (95.74) vs I-820 (35.17)
I-215 (94.62) vs I-110 (41.28)
I-880 (63.79) vs I-205 (49.61)
I-210 (61.12) vs I-335 (50.13)

And here are the play-in rounds. These 4 matchups are what you'll get to vote on for the first week.

East: I-664 (20.21) vs I-291 (11.46)
An interstate with a bridge-tunnel goes up against the 3di with the closest in distance variants.

Midwest: I-694 (30.77) vs I-696 (29.39)

It's Louisville against Jackson and Shreveport.

West: I-105 (20.81) vs I-225 (12.00)
The LAX airport spur faces off against Denver's eastern bypass.

This tournament have concluded. Thanks to everyone that participated.

Heh, Virginia's 295 by itself would be the 10-seed in the east.

I-515, I-555 get snubbed!

I-238 should definitely have an invite from the Committee! They won their Conference - the x38s!

To me it seems this would be a bit more unpredictable than the 2di tournament.

Here goes:

East:
664 vs. 291
I took a look at each road since I haven't been on either. I was going to go for 664, but I found a ton of button copy on 291, so it gets the nod.

Midwest:
694 vs. 696
More interesting infrastructure.

South:
265 vs. 220
I wanted to like 220, but I just couldn't.

West:
105 vs. 225
Similar situation as above with 225 here.

East:
I-664 because it has a cooler name
I-694 because it's not in Detroit
I-265 because it's a respectable beltway
I-225 because I've been on it

So just to clarify, we're voting on each number based on all of the instances of each number combined? (i.e. a vote for I-635 would be an endorsement of both the TX and KS/MO versions?)

East: I-664 (20.21) vs I-291 (11.46)
Can't beat the bridge-tunnel.

Midwest: I-694 (30.77) vs I-696 (29.39)
Not that familiar with either, but the higher speed limit wins it for me

South: I-265 (31.21) vs I-220 (29.63)
The 265 cable-stayed bridge over the Ohio is neat.

West: I-105 (20.81) vs I-225 (12.00)
Never been on either 105 ... but I have fully clinched I-225.

And here are the play-in rounds. These 4 matchups are what you'll get to vote on for the first week.

East: I-664 (20.21) vs I-291 (11.46)
Bridge-tunnel complexes are amazing to an engineer, so I'll give a nod towards 664.

Midwest: I-694 (30.77) vs I-696 (29.39)
Easy call! I want to get there fast, so 696 moves on!

South: I-265 (31.21) vs I-220 (29.63)
Cable-stayed bridges are awesome, especially on a newer interstate like 265. Also, it has a tunnel that goes under a historical landmark!

West: I-105 (20.81) vs I-225 (12.00)
105 has a train line that travels almost the length of this freeway, however, I can't stand Denver's addiction to add toll lanes to add capacity to highways that needed to be widened 10-15 years ago!

But 225 isn't tolled and has had its biggest bottleneck widened...

Anyway...

664, 694, 265, 225.

I should be a homer for the I-291's, but the bridge-tunnel wins

Midwest: I-694 (30.77) vs I-696 (29.39)

Well, I'll give this one a shot...

EAST
I-664 gets the win over I-291 because of the cool bridge-tunnel.

MIDWEST
This one's a toughie, but I'll take I-694 over I-696. Bonus points also go to I-694 for nostalgia, as it was a proposed number for the LSD upgrade in Chicago that was later cancelled.

SOUTH
I'll go with I-265, now that its two sections are connected by that nice-looking bridge over the Ohio River.

WEST
I'll take I-225 in this one; L.A.'s I-105 loses points for not having a direct connection to its parent.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

I know this was based on distance, but 670 feels like a snub to me, serving downtown Columbus and being the de facto I-70 through downtown KC.

East: I-664 (20.21) vs I-291 (11.46)
Bridge-tunnel.

Midwest: I-694 (30.77) vs I-696 (29.39)
Not Detroit, I guess.

South: I-265 (31.21) vs I-220 (29.63)
Nothing that appealing about 220.

West: I-105 (20.81) vs I-225 (12.00)
Haven't been on 105, but driving on any LA freeway seems to be a stressful experience, and I've clinched 225.

One side note: I-435 is actually 83.02 miles. The list you linked to appeared to exclude its concurrency with I-29. It doesn't look like it will affect its seeding, but I thought you should know.

I had I-670 in Midwest until the final draft, which I removed it in favor of I-469 (which I forgot it exists) because of the length. Something else worth mentioning is that I forgot about I-287 until I was transferring the google doc I was working with to the thread, and snubbed I-795. With the highway at 90+ miles long, that would be a huge miss had I actually forgot it.

I-220 was no match for I-265, which won 12-1
