Petersburg, VA area photos (6/6/09)

I've posted a bunch of photos from the Petersburg, VA area (I-85, I-95, I-295, US 1, US 301, US 460) from a couple days ago on my Picasa account. I've been gradually switching my Flickr toward more professional photos, and I'll likely get a second Flickr for the road stuff later on.

But for now, here is the gallery.

There are some photos of the new eastern terminus of US 460 BUSINESS in Petersburg, and some US 460 signage on Wagner Rd between there and I-95. US 460 is now signed much better on Wagner Rd, though there's still not much signage from I-95. Signs for what used to be the US 460 exit on I-95 still have not been updated to show "US 460 BUSINESS".

Great I didn't know that US 460 Business was posted from US 460 WB. I haven't checked out the view from US 460 WB at VA 106 and Wagner Rd

US 460 Business is posted from I-95 South.  In fact it had been wrongly posted this way before the realignment

Well, I suppose it's right now... I remember seeing that signage before, but I'd never seen the corresponding signage on I-95 northbound (the one time I went south of I-85 on I-95, I used VA 156 to get back), which is still wrong.

Those 637 signs look like they are straight from the NJDOT sign shop. Nice to see VA using the proper fonts for once.
