Steve Harvey, famous T.V. Host, has yet another Programme starring him. It is Judge Steve Harvey, airing in Prime Time. American Broadcasting Company has been for several years airing revivals of Game Shows with very few episodes. And now they seem to have included Court Genre also.

Judge Steve Harvey sounds not unlike Eye For An Eye. However, Steve Harvey does not have any Law Degrees. It is nice to have somebody Lampoon the Court Genre. Will it improve Steve Harvey's career? Or Will it result in the opposite?

I'd watch Bully Maguire hang out with Steve Harvey.

Judge Steve Harvey is one of those shows that will be cancelled after one season once the network realizes how dumb it is.

Wasn't being comparable in that way. I was talking about the fact how network TV brass create shows.

Judge shows are stupid.

Especially since they stopped involving actual judges.

Steve Harvey is not particularly funny and I personally feel he's jumped the shark. Unfortunately, we're stuck with him on Family Feud (which has also jumped the shark and is basically just shock value) for the foreseeable future since he now owns the show.

It's what's popular that networks look for. When I went to broadcasting school, I learned that Nielsen ratings are not only what motivates networks, but demographics also.  That is why local radio stations change formats so often and therefore popular TV genres too are picked on that.
