US 278 Reopens

US 278 reopened around 8:30 this morning following a truck explosion on Wednesday west of Camden, Arkansas which blew a 15 foot deep crater in the roadway.

His brakes caught fire, so he pulled to the side of the road and got out his extinguisher.

Just as the first responders arrived, they saw him walk back up to the truck when it exploded.

Some houses nearby have been damaged along with that 15 foot deep hole it caused.

The mushroom cloud and subsequent report were heard for many miles around.
