Long time fan of the site, finally decided to get a forum account.

I am from new jersey, was in the air force until recently, and i am returning home to NJ from north dakota. I am a fan of suspension bridges, and most bridges with impressive superstructure over the road. I have driven the following major roads end to end. Indiana Toll Road, Ohio Turnpike, PA Turnpike, NJ 37.

woohoo!  Fellow NJian here.  NJ 37 is not a major road though, sorry.  And until you've been to the STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 37 bridge on CR 539 and the one mile of CR 524 in the I-195 interchange area, you can't really say you've been on all of 37 (both of those roads were built as part of extending 37 to Trenton before I-195 changed that plan).  I'll assume you're somewhere down in Central Jersey?  Good to have you around.

Minot?  I have a good friend who is stationed at Minot.  I visited Minot twice last summer.  Charming town.  Although I can imagine the winters are pretty unbearable.

Grand Forks, and yeah the winters are unbearable. I have been on 539 near 195 in the past, i may or may not have been on that bridge. Also my favorite county Route is Burlington County 630, it goes through some very scenic areas from CR 541 to Fort Dix/Browns Mills NJ where it ends. Alps, do you remember the old NJ29 traffic issue, where you had to exit before duck island, for some reason (i am 22 years old so i was a kid then) i only remember the road when it was being reconsuructed as a tunnel, not before they started the tunneling.
Btw my worst NJ/PA Experence was visitng friends in willow grove, without taking the PA Turnpike to it, which would have taken 20 minutes from Mt Holly, instead i took the Bristol Bridge over to US-13, then headed south to 63, and well..you get the idea, i got so lost on the way home that by sheer dumb luck i got to 95, and i just took that over to NJ29 and headed home. Fun times in the Jerseyvania Triangle

Spent some Air Force time in ND myself.  Flew with the 906th AREFS for 7 yrs before it moved from Minot to GF.  Out and back to ID in the purge of '92.

Yeah, well, when they say that 90% of your year group is going to be out by the end of the year, you volunteer, pick your date and take the bigger money.   :)  From our squadron, we lost 6 navigators (2 volunteered) including one of our young ones (pilots and boom operators were exempt from the purge as essential personel).
