Figured that I would make a catch-all CA 41 thread given how many I've started in the past. Took photos of the modern highway alignment from CA 33 north to CA 180/168 in Fresno:

Looking at the development, major intersections and traffic along 41 west of Fresno, I wonder how long before Caltrans makes it all freeway/expressway to I-5?

Hopefully sooner rather than later...at least to CA 198. Most of it is already to 198 but that 6 mile of two-lane road stretch between Elk Horn and Mountain View are a pain in the ass. I would imagine to the average daily traffic is high enough all the way to 46 to justify four lanes.
The one section of CA 41 I haven't really covered in the past was the modern alignment between CA 33 north to CA 180/168. This blog post has links to the all the former alignment blogs but focuses mainly on the modern alignment of CA 41 which is largely an expressway/freeway grade.

I made an update to a previous CA 41 article pertaining to the original highway from Coarsegold north towards Yosemite National Park. The original article only covered Old CA 41 on Road 425B, the expanded article includes the full original alignment of Legislative Route 125/CA 41 north from Coarsegold towards Yosemite National Park. The original alignment of Legislative Route 125/CA 41 consisted of; Road 425C in Deadwood Gulch, Road 425B north from Deadwood Hill, Road 426 into Oakhurst, and Road 425A/Old Yosemite Road north towards Sugar Pine.
