Once I saw that line, I knew this would be nothing but allowing the public to feel involved.  A motorist will go by certain spots very rarely.  Even if they go thru an intersection 4 times a day, they are there for 4 minutes at the most.

On the other hand, the police have accident and crash reports that are in a database to show exactly where accidents are occurring.  Public works people can easily see where congestion forms, how long queues last, etc.  So a meeting like this may be good for the information they provide, but the information they request is just a feel-good measure that will be ignored.
