Big unit.

Yeah, there's more of those monstrous number ones appearing in the state.

I *might* not need my glasses to see that sign  ;-)

At the east end of US 412 in Columbia, TN, a pavement marking for US 99 appears. (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10221158436151013&set=a.10221158525753253)

Now over in Dandridge, TN (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10221133552688942&set=a.10221133689212355)

Clearly that lane leads to a portal to 1960s California.

I find it interesting that they didn't notice their error here, considering the shields being correct on the green sign: https://maps.app.goo.gl/hNdEEzonBCrXsiYSA

The junction sign used to be back here, where it was correct: https://maps.app.goo.gl/cRUd9Pxc6XHLH4aA6 But something happened to it sometime between October 2013 and September 2018, though the broken post is actually still there: https://maps.app.goo.gl/zoPoEJAhNPqv98fKA

How about a US/Interstate shield mixup error?  I-280 (Ohio) has been undergoing a rehab project between OH-2 and OH-51 in Northwood.  The median wall was replaced and all the new mile markers sport US-280 shields.

Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

How about shield on the pavement.

US 35 instead of Texas SH 35 at it other end.

Seems like a worse mistake.  Much harder to fix.

Another kind of mistake:  US 249 on a street blade for NY 249, near North Collins, NY:

How long has Rite Aid's logo looked like that? It used to be red and blue, not blue and green.

Aah, OK. Rite Aid pulled out of my area (sold to Walgreens) prior to that so I was unaware of the change, since I haven't seen a Rite Aid in several years.

I drive this every day on my commute.  I haven't noticed it before, but now it's going to be an irritation for the life of the signs.
