Never too much Terre Haute, unless you are Steve Martin...
Seriously, I drove out Lafayette Avenue a while back. I was suprised at the number of motel buildings and retro gas stations that are still along here. Do you know what year US 41 was moved over to it's current alignment, and what year 41 was taken off 7th Street and moved to 3rd?

I've heard about people having to wait on trains numerous times each day on many of Terre Haute's busy streets, I'm sure separation of the rail line from the road would be considered as good news to those there. Grade separation on Wabash and 3rd Streets (US 41) should help with movement through the town.

Sorry Page 48. It has a list of future highway projects.
For those of you that didn't happen to read. It's actually on page 48. Sorry, it said 50 on the scroll bar. Its a table that says "Highway Projects."
For other Terre Haute projects go to http://www.terrehaute.in.gov/city-plans-projects. It shows the railroad corridor that honestly will probably never happen.
