A friend of mine just got an '09 Accord  as a hand-me-down but he doesn't even have his permit yet.
He shouldn't even have a car in the first place. I'm not sure how people do that.

They hand them the keys and the title and boom: car has changed owners.

In Oklahoma, the transfer of title requires that the purchase price be included on the form. I am not sure what, if anything, the Oklahoma Tax Commission does with this information, or what would happen if one were to place "$0" on that line. I imagine if it isn't in line with fair market value they could hit you with a gift tax.

Don't corporations and other business entities own cars and other vehicles, even though they don't have driver's licenses?

I've got a 1999 Accord that I took off the road once I got my 2002 Camry.

My plan has always been to fix it up just enough so that I could sell it to a bunch of high school kids who want to turn it into a rice rocket. Unfortunately, certain economic and mechanical issues have gotten in my way. One of them is my inability to remove the negative battery cable and replace it with another one. The thing won't come off!

It's not the only problem, but it's a notable one.
