Welcome! I've never been to Alaska but have wondered if Alaska Route 7 is actually signed in Juneau. All of the Google Street View I've seen seems to suggest it is not signed. Thanks for joining!

Yes, it is.  Here is a Google Earth image of one posting, on Egan Drive outbound by the yacht club.

Thank you for sharing that picture! I was also wondering if cardinal directions were used, and it seems like the answer is no.

I do not believe we have any cardinal direction plaques on our state route shields here in Southcoast Region.  Central, a different story.  I have seen them there on the Parks and Seward Highways.  Northern probably has them too, most likely on the Richardson.  Haven't been on it for a while, though.
