I heard that trucks aren't allowed on the outermost lanes because of the weight limit. Why would they design it like that?

I was on the bridge yesterday. I didn't see any signs prohibiting trucks in the outermost lanes. By the way, the new bridge is a great drive. The high flying overhead ramps leading to and from I-780 on the north shore are a sight to behold.

Yes those ramps are very nice, the flyovers are simply amazing. Are you sure there's no weight limit though? Even when looking at the bridge it seems like the outer lanes just hang off the side of it.
