Lowest-numbered route you haven't been on

Currently, it is 126 for me. 131 and 148, my next two, do not appear to be on my radar anytime soon either.

I drove on FM 17 yesterday, so that pushes up my number to... 18. The only one that I can feasibly get appears to be OK 18. After that, my next numbers are 23, 27, and 32.

OK-18 isn't too far from you in Tulsa. Nor is OK-27. And you could pick up OK-32 if you went home via OKC and DFW sometime.

23 is probably going to be a stumbling block, unless you can take a day to head out to the TX/OK panhandles, or to Northwest Arkansas.

Yeah I'm kicking myself because I was just in Memphis last month where I could've gotten TN 23 (I was pressed on time though and elected to pick up TN 14 instead to fill that gap). When I go back there, I'll be sure to pick it up. Otherwise, FM 23 seems like the best option.

LA-18 is the old river road along the west bank of the Mississippi from Gretna to Donaldsonville  (Between Baton Rouge and New Orleans). It could happen too.

This will legitimize my claim for 48 for those who don't like counting internal numbers like ORH 48... To which I say goodluck finding these Indian routes signed in the wild!

Earlier today, I lucked into a Virginia secondary route 654 near Staunton, which I took from I-81 southeast to SR 831 (Old White Hill Rd.). That moves my lowest untraveled route number up to 661.

Damn I forgot this thread existed. I was off the forum for over a year but in May 2022 I was very briefly on MO 39 south of Shell Knob, just drove to the Arkansas state line and back on MO 86.

I think the lowest I haven't been on is 47 now that I got 39.
