Im going to Springfield, MA any sign goodies? You know the usual non-reflective button copy, classic MA relics etc :bigass:
I only take pics of good looking signs. Long live non-reflective button copy!

CT-style MA 33 sign westbound on the Mass Pike (green instead of white)
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Non-reflective button copy... let's call it NRBC... on the I-91-US 5 connector to the Mass Pike.  From I-91 take Exit 14.  When the ramp splits with the Mass Pike onramp going right, continue straight and there are IIRC two overheads in the old style.  Reverse direction, from US 5 to the Mass Pike and I-91, there's at least one NRBC.

Still there? Thought that one disappeared.

I think those are reflective, not non-reflective, but my photos are daytime.

Have all the old signs on 33 been replaced? I've heard they have, but then they were still there on my subsequent visit. I believe there's still a button copy Mass Pike entrance sign on Montgomery St. (exit 5). All of I-291's signs were replaced. There was

Oh, yes, the state-name I-91 shield that no one else could find. Where MA 116 ends at MA 20A (just east of I-91 exit 9), make a right on the little connector to 20A West (toward I-91). Look across the street from there, and original shield.

Are the NRBC signs on MA-49 still there?
or MA-33? (conflicting reports on these)

How about NRBC signs in VT?

Also, is the I-95 NB Exit 18 Thurbers Ave 900Ft sign still there in RI?

I may add in a trip over to Newton to see if the Mass Pike NRBC signs.

I believe that those have since been gone/replaced. I caught a glimpse of newer BGS' in the Exit 16 & 17 interchanges when I last drove through there earlier this month.

Note: StreetView may not be current in this area.

If you look at the street view from across the street, the sign has been taken down :(
