Since Bay City has decided to start screwing around with the bridges making two of them toll and having one of the state highway bridges in Bay City closed for the next two and a half years for construction there is a wrong way detour concurrency with M-13 and M-84 now. It's a truck detour I think that the normal detour would be to use Wenona Street.

Last year MDOT totally screwed up all the detours and/or signage for the Lansing area involving I-69, Airport Rd and I-496.  The worst offender was when they closed the ramp from Airport Rd to WB I-69 and routed traffic down the EB I-69 ramp.  Traffic was then supposed to follow EB I-69 to Old 27, exit there and then enter on the WB I-69 ramp.  But they waited about 2 weeks to put up any signage on I-69, so people may have ended up in Flint, Port Huron or Canada before they figured it out!  :-D

Wow I would hope they realized that they were going in the wrong direction before getting to Flint or even Perry really. Some of these detour routes they come up with leave you scratching your head.
