A bridge in Parke County is causing concerns for drivers. ... As you can see a hole has developed at the U.S. 36 and Leatherwood Creek Bridge. An Indiana Department of Transportation bridge inspector was on their way to the scene.

Wrong ugly bridge link - that's the covered bridge on old 36. Streetview suggests the bridge approaches are worn but the bridge itself looks new and well graded.

So the photo above is of the bridge approach? I'm no expert, but that looks like the deck.
