I have looked on Google Maps for Satellite and zoomed in on Interstate 5 Golden State Freeway, in the city of Burbank, CA as well as the Interstate 605, San Gabriel River Freeway interchange with Interstate 5, Santa Ana Freeway with construction of HOV lanes and redoing some major interchanges with arterial streets. Does anyone have known about any new projects to extend them beyond Interstate 5/CA 134 and to Interstate 5/Interstate 710?

A setup like the section of the recently reconstructed 635 in North Dallas would be ideal for I-5 between 710 and CA 134. Ideally 14 lanes would be nice. One can dream I guess. I don't see it anytime soon.

I don't think there is enough room on either Interstate 5 (Old U.S. 6 & 99) Golden State Freeway, Interstate 5 (Old U.S. 101) Santa Ana Freeway to widen to 14 lanes, when I traveled down to Disneyland via the Pacific Surfliner route via Amtrak railroad to Anaheim, California and went over the Santa Ana Freeway on Katella Avenue over the widening there of Interstate 5, Santa Ana Freeway with two HOV lanes near the median strip.

There probably isn't room for 14 lanes but this would be ideal anyways.

The way that Los Angeles and its suburbs have grown, there would not be that much room at all.  Including what happened with Orange County during the 1960s.  As Interstate 5/U.S. 101 Santa Ana Freeway.

If you're talking about the stretch between the 134 and 710, not likely anytime soon. Adding an HOV through there would be a construction nightmare. There would need to be some kind of flyover (ala 57-60 HOV in Diamond Bar) ramp to connect the HOV's between the Santa Ana and Golden State portions of the 5. Also the 710/5 interchange would need to be rebuilt as well since the current setup has 710 traffic entering the 5 on the left. Not to mention widening and re configuring portions of the East LA interchange would send the cost into the billions easily. If they even did widen the 5 through this area, I would imagine they would for sure make it a FasTrak.

Here is the widening project for the Golden State Freeway as of 2021 according to this shot.

That's two decks. Do they still build double-deck freeways in California? I thought California stopped building those after Loma Prieta Earthquake.

The viaduct on the Harbor Transitway south of downtown could be considered another deck.

The widening of I-5 in the Santa Clarita Valley is set to get underway this summer. It includes HOV lanes, GP lanes, an extension of the truck lanes, and many bridge replacements as well as new Aux lanes in some places:
