Not so much crazy, but the Street View Image here has not been updated as K-14 no longer follows this alignment for quite some time now.

Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

You gotta click on the right spot to see the updated image.

Cut off by the Interstate, no more buildings, overtaken by nature, and still signed.
"Officer, I'm always careful to drive the speed limit no matter where I am and that's what I was doin'." Said "No, you weren't," she said, "Yes, I was." He said, "Madam, I just clocked you at 22 MPH," and she said "That's the speed limit," he said "No ma'am, that's the route numbah!"  - Gary Crocker

I think though as crazy as the editing came out, it looks cool here the route shield that is being transparent somewhat to the left of it.

Apparently River View has been added to Street View.  I found a boat that appears to be sinking and body parts floating in the East River.

A lone hand getting the return at the St. Arnoult en Yvelines toll plaza in France (yes, the same one the approach to I just played on the Guess the country thread).
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

↑ The building they're outside contains a martial arts place and a crossfit gym. Perhaps one of them uses the tires as part of a workout.

Edit: Apparently the "tire flip" is a type of crossfit exercise. That explains it.

Be sure to slow down in the school zone...

I know this wasn't your point, but it's also bad sign placement – the sign immediately after is a permanent 25 mph regardless of whether it's flashing or not.

Actually, that was my point - I found it funny that the speed limit on the road is 25mph, but drivers are required to slow down... to 25... when it's flashing.

I thought your point was the license plate recognition false positive blur making it say something else. (This is the crazy GSV thread, not one of the various sign threads.)

It's a little bit like (but also completely unlike) how Putnam County, NY likes to put "End Speed Limit 35" signs shortly before the end of all county roads–meaning that the speed limit for the last couple of hundred feet is technically 55. :-)
