I am looing for examples of bridges crossing over another bridge.  This excludes bridges at freeway interchanges.  This might be my favorite example.  Bonus if you look at this view of the same bridge, you can see the low water crossing that was the first bridge.  They all don't get crossed, but it's cool to see three generations of bridges!

There is a famous example in Richmond.

My impression is that you are talking about the famous Triple Crossing (Seaboard bridge over C&O Viaduct over Southern at-grade).  However, this is right beside a bunch that are lesser known but more impressive in their own right:

  • Just to the east of Triple Crossing, the I-95 interchange with the Downtown Expressway (Toll VA-195) has also got the I-95 mainline bridge and two ramp bridges over the C&O Viaduct.

  • Then just to the north of the Triple Crossing, three of the ramps from I-95 to/from the Downtown Expressway cross over the Seaboard Viaduct (mainline).  All of these are crossing over Dock Street (at grade).

  • Next up is the I-95 mainline bridge also crosses over the Seaboard Viaduct (mainline) coming off the south end of Main Street Station, which crosses over US-60 (Main Street, at grade) at the same location.

  • Almost, but not quite:  The Seaboard Interchange Viaduct (to the C&O) is just touching underneath the Downtown Expressway ramp to I-95 northbound.
If you include the footbridge over the James and Kanawha Canal, there are six different levels of bridges intertwined at this location.  Not all of them stack.

Oh, I didn't realize that there's more than just that.

Also, that question makes no sense.

Wdym?

(a)  Is it just me?
(b)  Does overpass look too low to me?

Both of those could be true at the same time.  Or neither one could be true.  And, come on, we have no idea how it looks to you unless you tell us.

Gotcha.  OK.  As a matter of fact, I did open the link and look at the overpass.  And, because you've informed me that just looking at it will let me know if you think it's too low or not, I can safely answer the question correctly.

The answer is "The overpass does not look too low to you."  Therefore, logically, by the implication contained in your question, the second answer to your question is "It's just you."  After all, you implied that it can only be one or the other.

If you disagree, then either (a) you were wrong in asserting that merely looking at it would tell me what you think about it, or else (b) you're wrong, or else (c) you phrased your initial question incorrectly.
