Google Maps - Interstate Business Routes

FYI, this morning Interstate business loops were displayed with a tricolor marker with the suffix B. Just noticed this evening that they now appear as green shields without the suffix.

In regard to using red-blue interstate shields for interstate business routes, Google Maps has now shown green shields for Business Loops, as shown here in Sacramento:

This change must have happened in the last ~14 hours as I recall the I-376 BL was still shown with "I-376B" shields this morning.

Finally! This is a long-awaited change.

Years ago there were very few shields (IIRC). Besides the freeway exits, I only remember shields at the intersection with US 67, and at that one northbound entrance ramp - none at Bus 67 (where I remember no shields only street blades that said something like "Old Cleburne Highway.")  Now GSV shows shields everywhere - some say Business, some say Truck (which is not a designation I have seen often in Texas) some are 2d shields and some are 3d shields - but yes, except for the freeway exit signage they all seem to say 35.  I stand corrected.

I can't apologize for all the idiots in Texas, only myself. But yeah, why the tiny letters? and why "IH"? and why......

They must not be finished yet. Most of the Texas ones are still blue. All the I-45 ones are blue and there isn't one at all in Palmer.

In other news, some Michigan highways are now appearing as county roads. In my hometown of Negaunee, MI, US 41/M-28 has US 41 shields as before, but "M-28" is appearing in rectangles just like CR 492 and CR 480. BUS M-28 is still shown with "28B" in circles (well ovals) as before.

Just checked a couple of spots.... No dice yet for the Bus I-40s in the TX panhandle, including Shamrock, Groom, Vega, and Amarillo Blvd. in Amarillo; although, none are labeled in Shamrock, Groom, and Vega except with text labels right now.  Still regular red-n-blue I-40 on both Amarillo Blvd. and the actual I-40.  Then I tried I-49 in MO; it has very little--overall, labeling there still needs help (you'd think they'd have their act together since it's been an interstate since last December!), no regular US 71 labeling at all between I-435/I-470 and Pineville either!  Up to now, several parts of I-49 have been labeled opposite of what they actually are (Bus I-49s as main I-49, while some of main I-49 has had 'I-49B' labels...weird).  Now, only Peculiar and south of I-435/I-470 have main I-49 labels, the rest all the way to Pineville has nothing.  I did see new green Bus I-49 labeling for the correct parts of Joplin and Neosho, but that's it for the greens--nothing else, including Nevada, was even labeled unless it was text/local-street-name labels.  I also found a green Bus I-44 in the right parts of Joplin while looking at I-49.

I wonder what took Gargle (as a friend calls it ) so long?
