"Link to calendar" acting up?

At the bottom of the pages in each thread is the "link to calendar". Every time I press it, a message pops up saying, "You can't modify just any post."

Any ideas?

Try it on a thread you started. It will work normally.

I just did...more weirdness: what I got was a blend of modifying my original post with linking it to the calendar as an event.

That sounds like the intended behavior. The idea is to start a thread on an event like a roadmeet and then create a calendar entry that links to the thread.
