What US highway has the most US highways that end at it?

I'm guessing that US 60 is a contender.  A lot of US highways end at it.  Are there any highways that have more termini?

US 1 along the East Coast would be a contender among north-south routes.

US-60 is probably close- it's got US-93, US-70, US-641, US-431, US-42, US-501, US-522, and US-58.

US-62, maybe? US-85, US-266, US-167, US-49, US-68...eh, nope.

Also, US 460 twice. Formerly had US 35 and US 68 (which once was co-signed with US 60 and US 62 into Paducah).

US-277 ends concurrent with US-62. 62 merges onto I-44 while 277 just ends. Would that count as "ending at" 62?

No.  It ends at I-44.

If a highway is concurrent with another route when it ends, I wouldn't consider that the one ended at the other.  But maybe the author of the OP should make a ruling on whether or not this counts.  How about it, bugo?

As for the question, I'd have to check, but it makes sense that the longer a route is, the more highways will end on it.  So the earlier guesses of US 60 and US 1 are both good possibilities.  I think US 17 is up there, as it's the coastal route in the US Highway-heavy south Atlantic Coast.  US 20 probably ends its share east of Chicago.

Well look at that - error in CHM's US 441 file.  It ends at US 25W.  Knock one off US 41's total.  I'll submit a report there.

Now if you are talking what US highway has the most US highways that end in one spot, then a heavy favorite is/was Public Square, Cleveland Ohio.

In Downtown Cleveland, US-21, US-42, US-322 and US-422 all end (or used to end) at the multiplex of US-6/US-20, giving us 4 endings at a 6-route junction (not including the half-dozen or so additional State Routes which also terminate(d) there as well).
