The casino at Rising Sun, Ind., has opened a ferry. I didn't know anything about this until a couple of weeks ago.

So much for thinking I had clinched all the Ohio River crossings when I rode the Sistersville ferry year before last. I'll have to go ride this ferry sometime to re-clinch.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Google Maps doesn't know about it either - it directs you to go up to the I-275 crossing.

But the Goog aerial photo is up to date and shows the ferry docked at the casino, as well as the landing on the KY side.
Even better, Google Maps names the Ferry Landing, and has the Ferry's scheduled service timetable...but the locations marked, especially on the Indiana side, do not seem able to handle Car Ferry traffic, unless these are old aerial photos and approach roads have been built to the locations

Are you sure that is the car ferry docked at the casino? Or is this an actual Riverboat casino in IN? If so, that may be the actual Gaming floor. I know IL has a couple of actual Boats that are the Casino Gaming Floors - East Peoria and Elgin come to mind

The casino in Indiana is a permanently-docked riverboat casino.

I haven't  been to Rabbit Hash in at least a year so I'm not sure how they built things on that side of the river. I know there were concerns about increased traffic through there when this was originally announced.

Re-looking at Google Maps, if the casino is permanently docked on the north side, it is not the ferry boat. The Rabbit Hash landing area is pretty easy to make out on the south side of the river, over a mile upriver of where the village is marked and upriver of the casino as well, and may have been an old boat ramp converted into a ferry landing. But the north landing, if it is directly across the river on the north, is not shown in the aerial. The map is copyright 2019 but obviously is older if the north landing is not shown as built-out.

Google Maps doesn't have it yet, but Google Earth has an image of the Indiana landing, a ferry with cars on it, and the new access road on the Indiana side (it's an extension of the road through the golf course that Google Maps calls Industrial Access Road and Google Earth calls Gravel Road). It was built sometime between March and October 2018.
