Greetings!!
« on: January 20, 2021, 05:32:12 PM »

Hiya folks!
I've been a lurker for quite some time after coming across the forum finding info about the I-73/74 projects. I'm constantly bouncing around between NC, VA, and for a little bit there, DC, so those will be the threads you see me post in. I've been collecting maps for years, and have two or three storage boxes full now, inherited and collected. I may have a road problem in that I tend to take the roundabout way to get places to drive a new road. (Maybe in 2030 I'll be driving Metrolina to Central VA via Norfolk to get I-87...)

Welcome from Massachusetts!

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Welcome from Michigan!

I may have a road problem in that I tend to take the roundabout way to get places to drive a new road.

So what's the problem?

Absolutely can relate. I have three filing cabinets filled with fold maps, several shelves with atlases and a couple more drawers in a dresser stuffed with maps. I also inherited a huge map collection, and was given another large collection from my old boss (long time cartographer) when he and his wife were downsizing.
Just bought another 16 maps this past weekend...

You are in good company then!

That's not a bug, it's a feature.

Going the roundabout way also describes driving in Malta.

Welcome from So Cal.

Roundabout way?  You mean the "scenic route"? If it has more interesting features, or is a way to clinch a new route segment, why not?
