Another MB 59 at a future stack interchange with MB 101 on the northeast side of Winnipeg. Due to the construction, the former overhead sign has been ground mounted. Picture taken November 2015.

US 59 is well-represented in my collection, but nothing especially interesting.  So I'll go to the Victoria, Texas, area.  July 29, 2005.

I'll go to I-759 in Gadsden, Alabama, for I-59.  March 30, 2014.

I don't get to post a North Dakota very often, so let's go with the last exit on I-29 before Manitoba.  June 9, 2001.

Photos I post are my own unless otherwise noted.

In Florida tonight after checking on a house in the path of Matthew. Unfortunately the wi-fi here is blocking Flickr for some reason. I have three 59s to post and will do that once I'm back home tomorrow.

I suppose it'll be pretty easy for several of us to get some US 60 pictures, but, anyway, here are a couple from me. This is in Lyndon, Kentucky. Just took 'em today. They're pretty beat up, just like most of the US 60 signs in and near Louisville.

My first thought for a US 60 was the one in Virginia Beach I posted for 13.  So instead, let's go much further west to Socorro, New Mexico, where US 60 is signed with a "South".  May 9, 2004.

The end of New York 60 in Jamestown.  May 25, 2002.

And how about Georgia 60 Spur?  Taken in Mineral Bluff.  July 9, 2008.

West end of US 60, in western Arizona. Horribly backlit (the sun is right behind the route marker), but managed to salvage the photo anyway.

Time for 61? I think so.
It's not.  We haven't even been on 60 for 15 hours yet, let alone 24.

Unfortunately, I only have one 58 -__- so I'll put it with a couple 59's.

Hmm, I was going off the timestamp of OP's original post (which, for me, reads August 11, 2016, 09:09:10 AM vs my post at Today (Oct 12) at 10:53:46 AM, compare to http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=days+since+august+11 , from which you have to subtract one for the original day zero). OP's introduction of 60 was also several hours late, going by that same original time. If that's wrong I'll remove my post.

The 24-hour rule states, "The 24-hour clock starts with the first post posted for a particular number, or a post by the moderator indicating that the number has advanced." The moderator did not post a "59 is now in play" post, so we look instead to when the first post posted for 59 took place. That was at 8:20pm October 10. 24 hours after that, at 8:37pm October 11, jbnv posted that "60 is now in play." (So, only 17 minutes late.) 24 hours after that post, when 61 comes into play, will be this evening. At least, that's all according to how the time stamps are showing up for me (in EDT, if that matters).
