ş = [Compose] + s + ,

Pretty much any Unicode can be created with a Compose key, even if not by default; there is a configuration file that can be edited to add the appropriate "formula". Some wag on the X development team appears to have added a commented out formula for the hammer and sickle symbol, [Compose] + C + C + C + P.

I hate Clearview, because it looks like a cheap Chinese ripoff.

I'm for the Red Sox and whoever's playing against the Yankees.

I sure as hell wish my laptop had a PS/2 port.

Oh yes, a real classic.  IMHO The best keyboard ever made.  My brother, dad and I each have a few available for use.

There are PS/2 to USB converters available.  I've used these on several systems including at work.

"$5 shipped" leads me to believe you're talking about the little adapter pieces.  These will not work reliably, if even at all, with Model Ms.

You need active converters for these old beasts, like this or this.

I'd say spring for that higher grade adapter.

Your hands and arms will thank you for it.
