This topic came up in another thread.  I have quite a few notables in my photo collection which aren't on GSV.  Below is a random sampling:

I think the only significant road I have pictures of that GSV doesn't is AZ State Route 273.

Picked up photos of abandoned Foresta Road in Yosemite and Stanislaus National Forest recently which isn't on GSV:

Got pictures of the Magruder Road in Montana and Idaho last summer.

Also have pics of KY 199 (the gravel portion) that even KYTC's cameras don't cover.

I'm sure I have road photos from some of the more desolate state highways out west that Google either doesn't cover or only has 2007-quality imagery for.

This is pretty easy with unpaved roads...

The 07-09 images certainly comprise way more harrowing roads than modern GSV images do.

Actually, I forgot about the new section of SR 24, Google hasn't been there yet.

Not a picture, but a video, but I've got the entirety of the back way into Burkes Garden, while GSV has nothing:

Did you start in the valley and end at VA 42?

If I were to count pictures taken on streets that GSV doesn't include because they're either in gated communities or otherwise considered to be "private," I'm sure I have a fair number.

Yeah. Entering the valley I came in via Gratton.

Speaking of 199, I have a bunch of QC 199 pictures.

They're not pictures, but I have dashcam videos of quite a few old highway alignments in southern Iowa that GSV is too cowardly to drive has enough sense to avoid.

I've got some unpaved roads in South Africa.

There's still user-submitted coverage of some German roads.

I would like to have some pictures of Garzweiler mining area in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is very interesting, but GSV does not have any pictures from this area.

Madera County Road 800.  Seems the Google Car was scared off at both ends of the dirt segment with this one:

As of 2023 July 25 this is no longer the case.

At least in the L.A. area, a number of realtors do show the houses (and the streets) of gated communities on their Youtube sites.

Fremont Place and Park LaBrea were the closest to where I grew up in Central L.A.  When I was a kid, I was once in Fremont Place for a piano recital (the piano teacher had a friend with a mansion there.)  Park LaBrea used to allow regular traffic until the late 1980's, so I was within what is now gated many times as a child.

The most opulent is Beverly Park.  Mega-mansions!

How about some photos of the new freeway grade of CA 58 along the Centennial Corridor from the dedication this morning?  I'll be curious to see how long it takes Google to get street view images of this:

Considering Google is based in California, I bet it won't take too long.

They were quick on the draw this morning to show the Centennial Corridor on the map as an existing roadway.
