Same here. US 30 in Philadelphia and Camden and US 50 in Virginia less than a mile from DC, possibly plus DC proper while walking. (I've been on US 20 from NY 7 to I-88 and on I-291 (MA) and US 6 only on its overlap with I-84.)
I'm positive I've answered this before (I remember doing the research, at least), but I couldn't find it searching this forum.
It might be US 20, though I can't say for sure that I didn't pick up a block or two of it in Boston once. The longest one I'm positive I've never traveled is US 12. (Honorable mention to US 6, which I've only seen thanks to it hopping on I-84 in Hartford and I-95 in Providence.)
US-87
US 20, as far as I can tell I've never driven on any stretch of that Route.
US-1, at least for as long as I can specifically remember. I might have been on it at some point in early childhood.
US 281
US 281, me too
US 83
The top 5 are (1) US 20, (2) US 6, (3) US 30, (4) US 50, and (5) US 60.
I've definitely been on US 20 and US 6.
I don't think I've ever been on US 30, although I have crossed it at multiple points. Southeastern PA is kind of an iffy zone, but I'm about 85% sure I haven't driven any of it.

It was probably the other thread (also active at this time) about the longest interstate you haven't traveled.
Just from scrolling through that thread, it looked like a lot of people were posting their response for US routes in addition to interstates.
US 70
It helps that 5 of the 6 longest go through my state.
US 70 is the longest that I have not been on independent of an interstate concurrency.
US 82 is the longest that I have not been on at all.

I love US-30 in Indiana and Ohio, been on that many times. US-30 is multiplexed with I-70 in Breezewood too.
US 285 for me
Anyone got a list that's sortable by distance?
Never mind, I was using mobile Wikipedia. Changing to the desktop site allows sorting. Comparing that to Travel Mapping leads me to US-12. Apparently I've been on a massive 5.18 miles of US-20, all in Boise on a football trip in December 2004.
I picked up US 20 in northern Illinois, along the I-39 multiplex if nowhere else. I know I crossed US 6 somewhere around there, but I don't think I ever turned onto it.
Aside from that... I've got US 30 in Oregon, US 50 in DC, US 60 in Kentucky and West Virginia, US 12 in Washington, US 70, 1, and 64 in North Carolina, and US 40 in West Virginia. The second-longest US highway I've never been on would, then, be US 62.

Sometimes you forget that US highways are multiplexed on Interstate highways. Like around here I-75 is multiplexed with US-23 between Standish and Flint and you almost never think that you're on US-23 but rather you're on I-75.

Never did, as far as I remember. When I've visited Indiana, it's been farther south.
On the other hand, I took another look - I've been on it in Pennsylvania, for its I-81 multiplex just north of Scranton!
I guess US 30 for me. I've crossed it enough times, but never been on it so far as I can recall.
I drove about 100ft of US84 to get a photo of the route shield off I-75 in Georgia. Since I don't think that counts for everything, US84 will be my answer. Most of the routes longer than US84 I've only driven a small segment of, but they count!
US 20. As far as I can tell I've only intersected it. In fact, I'm pretty sure the longest one I HAVE been on is either US 60 or 70.
Longest never driven would be US 12, but I have crossed it. Never driven and never crossed would be the western US 2.

Ditto. I've been on 30 through a good portion of PA (from I-81 to US 202 and the Ben Franklin Bridge), and I've even been to its eastern terminus in AC. The only portions of 50 I've driven are from the B-W Parkway into DC, and from I-97 to the 301 split.

US 1. After this summer that'll change to US 87.
The longest US Route I've missed is US 64, and that may stand for a while. I've been on US 1, 60 and 70, but wasn't driving at the time. Whether it counts that I've been on US 1 depends on whether you think walking on the sidewalk alongside the road (in Alexandria, VA and Washington DC) counts as being on it. US 60 and 70 were both the same day when my buddy and I went from El Paso to Phoenix on I-10.
US 6, don't really need to explain why.
I actually live in Corvallis less than a half mile away from US 20 (.47 when running), the longest road in the US.
US 30 for me.

I lived in the Chicago area for a total of 16 years, and the closest I ever got to Indianapolis was a friend's wedding in one of the suburbs.
For a 2dus: US 68 @ 560 miles.
For a 3dus (and the "title"): US 283 @ 730 miles.
Crossed these many times; never driven on them, however.
US 20.
On a side note, I thought US 6 was the longest (it was indeed the case during the time it went to Long Beach), but that was because the list I used split US 20 at Yellowstone.
US 191.
Mine looks to be US 68 at around 550 miles, though in my notes I have it only listed as "probably never traveled". I've crossed it in several places. At the least, I've not been on it since I have kept track of such things. Looks like second place goes to US 43, which is untraveled by me with near certainty.

I've never been on US 20 or US 6. I've never been west of eastern Tennessee, so whatever the longest north-south route past there would be my answer for those, excluding US 41 which I have been on in Florida.

That would be 87, unless you count 52 or 62 as north-south.
I've been on 52 in VA and NC, so that's moot. So either 87 or 62.
I'm hard pressed to think of a time I've ever been on U.S. 17 (though I have been to the Hampton Roads area so it's possible), so I'll go with that.
Somehow I've yet to drive any of US 12.
Much harder to pinpoint than interstates but luckily it didn't take too long for me to figure out my answer. US 2 (western). Even if I included the eastern section, which I won't, it doesn't matter as I've never driven or even crossed that either.
Probably US-60 or US-70
US 18
US 30. I didn't even get to see it properly as it doesn't get a direct exit traveling on I-75 in Ohio.
iPhone
US-95 for me --- which, if Wikipedia is correct, is the 25th longest US Highway in America.
If you flip the number, you have US-59, which is longer than US-95. I've been on US-59, but just barely. It has a half-mile concurrency with US-60 near Afton, Oklahoma (I was through traffic on US-60).
For me, it's US-64, not counting concurrencies with Interstates, which I don't keep track of.
ETA: Having looked into the matter further, I can now say I've never been on any part of US-82.

U.S. 20.
For me, I'm guessing US 12. It seems to take an urban bypass around Chicago on surface streets (95th, Mannheim) and while I have been to Chicago, I don't think I've been on any of those streets.
I haven't been on US 70 at all either.*
I've been to Cleveland's public square, which takes care of US 20 and 6. (And I probably hit those at other places as well.)
US 30, I've certainly been on the parts in Pennsylvania.
I've lived pretty close to the two endpoints of US 50 and I've certainly hit those highways many times. Never been east of Annapolis yet though.
I made a point to specifically visit US 60's eastern endpoint while in Virginia Beach for a vacation a few years ago. I don't recall being on any other parts of current US 60.*
* I have been on the San Bernardino Fwy many times, but i was born after 1964 so it wasn't US 60-70-99 anymore. I don't think that should give me any credit for 60 or 70 [other than Virginia Beach.]
For me it's probably going to be one of the midwest US north-south routes because I haven't been around that part of the country much. Most of the east-west routes I've driven some portions of, and most of the western US N-S routes I've driven major segments or all of, along with US 1 and 101 on either coast.

Completing the trilogy of threads here...
For me, it's US 60. Crossed it many times in Louisville, Lexington and Charleston WV, but never been on it before. Second longest is US 87.
I haven’t been on 20 or 6, the two longest. 50 is the longest I’ve been on.
I haven't been on US 20 either.
US 60
My Top 5
US33 - 703 mi
US129 - 582
US68 - 560
US58 - 509
US165 - 412
US33 is the 80th longest U.S. Highway (according to Wikipedia). Kind of surprising I've been on the longest 79 as I've never really gone out of my way for U.S. Highways. For whatever reason, I've always been more interested in Interstates and state highways. Obviously a decent amount I've gotten because of concurrencies. I've also never been on a U.S. Highway in New York or Vermont, but have in every other state where they exist.
If we exclude interstate concurrencies, my answer would be US11 at 1,645 miles.
Chris
US 64 is the longest one I have not been on other than an interstate concurrency.
US 26 is the longest one I haven't been on any part of.
US 278, but there are several longer ones that I've only been on a tiny concurrency - perhaps most egregiously US 90 on it's <1 mi I-95 concurrency.
Looks like US 278 for me, too, but I need to check to see if I touched it in the Tupelo area.
US 20.
US 285 for me
Looks like mine is US 212. To be honest I'm surprised I made it that far down the list.
Some of the longer ones barely count, though. I've only been on US 52 and 81 because I exited onto them once from an interstate to get gas. US 14 I have from its very brief concurrency with IL 43. Maybe a couple other close calls but those are the big ones that come to mind.

I haven't been on US-70 (#7) since before I was old enough to drive, on a camping trip with my dad in junior high. But I was old enough to remember it, so I'm not going to count that as my answer.
I may have been on US-1 (#8) at some point during a childhood vacation to New England, but it was long enough ago that I don't remember much of where we went. So that's what I'm going with.

It's a dispute between two routes. If the implied routes through Yellowstone are counted, then US 20. If not, then US 6.
US 191, but that may change next week.
Now I haven't been on any section of US 95.
For me, it is the western segment of US 2 based on Wikipedia.
I was initially going to say US 20 (the longest US Highway of all), but then I got to thinking I might have actually been on the unnumbered part of the road at some point while in Yellowstone. Should this not be true (or count), there's a miniscule possibility I may have been on part of the route in either Boston or the Chicago area, but my memory is too fuzzy, and the chance is almost 0.
But if I have in fact been on US 20, then the longest US Highway I haven't been on would likely be US 60 -- unless by chance I have been on a short portion via a detour in downtown Louisville (but the memory fails me) -- if that is true, then the longest US Highway I haven't been on would be US 12 or US 2 (neither segment).
US-50
US 6, though I have crossed it a few times in Ohio and Connecticut.
I recently drove the westernmost segment of US 20, so that's one off the bucket list.
We've had this thread before, back in 2019. I'll just link my answer from then; it is still the same answer today.

Longest never driven would be US 12, but I have crossed it. Never driven and never crossed would be the western US 2.
US-87
US 6 passes through my town, US 30 passes to the south, and US 20 passes to the north. Because the south suburbs of Chicago have an absurd number of US Highways on them, many of the longest routes are just part of a daily commute, or a road I have to take to buy something off of Craigslist.
A lot of the other routes I've barely been on. US-40, 64, and 70 I've only been on because they share a bridge with I-55 in a city I've been on I-55 through. The only portion of US 60 and US 62 I've been on is the weird concurrency between them where they enter Illinois on one bridge, intersect US-51, and immediately leave the state again.
Working down the list on Wikipedia, the longest route I haven't been on is US-84, because my family doesn't travel east and west as far south as US-84 runs.

US 1
I've been on:
* US 20 in Illinois (along the I-39 multiplex if nowhere else).
* US 6 in Scranton, along the I-81 multiplex.
* US 30 in Oregon
* US 50 in DC
* US 60 in Kentucky and West Virginia
* US 12 in western Washington
* US 70, 1, and 64 in North Carolina
* US 40 in Wheeling, West Virginia.
* US 62 in Oklahoma City
* US 2 in Washington
* US 52 in North Carolina
* US 41 in Illinois
So, the longest US highway I've never been on - and which I've never even crossed or come within a few hundred miles of - is US 87.

We've had this thread before, back in 2019. I'll just link my answer from then; it is still the same answer today.

Longest never driven would be US 12, but I have crossed it. Never driven and never crossed would be the western US 2.
You should link the old thread.
Why? All you have to do is click on the ...

... part, and it takes you right there.
Looks like US 97 for me.
Crossed US 97 in Bend many years ago, but it doesn't look like there is now a concurrency with US 20- and who knows if there was back then.
Update: Clinched I-82 on my way back from Seattle in October, 2023, so I traveled almost 42 miles of US 97 in Washington.
For me, then, the distinction is now held by US 43.
I'm pretty sure US 64 wins this one, though I haven't been on much of 70.

Chris
Similar. Mine's 221, 76th I guess. I've also never sought out US highways, just lots of concurrencies. Amazingly, I've clinched zero of them.
Mine is US-12.

US 6, though I have crossed it a few times in Ohio and Connecticut.
I recently drove the westernmost segment of US 20, so that's one off the bucket list.
Turns out I did briefly end up on US 6 in Ohio, so my actual answer is US 50.

Completing the trilogy of threads here...
For me, it's US 60. Crossed it many times in Louisville, Lexington and Charleston WV, but never been on it before. Second longest is US 87.
Been on both US 60 (concurrency with I-57 in MO) and US 87 (concurrency with I-10 in TX) in the past week. Also been on my third longest missing (US 84, concurrency with US 59 in TX), so now it's US 83 for me.
US-87
Probably US 2.
Top 3 Longest I've never been on
US 60
US 70
The western US 2
I have been on:
- US 20 through WY
- US 6 (mainly in CO)
- US 30 along concurrencies in WY
- US 50 through CA, CO
- US 60 in NM
- US 12 through Miles City
- US 70 on the I-55 bridge
- US 1 in DC
- US 64 concurrent with I-55
- US 40 through CO, MO
- US 62 through New Madrid
- US 2 in Grand Rapids
- US 52 while concurrent with I-94
- US 41 briefly in ATL
- US 87 through Colorado
- US 84 while concurrent with I-25
- US 59 while concurrent with I-29
- US 83 while concurrent with I-94
- US 281 in downtown Wichita Falls
- US 287 between Wichita Falls and Yellowstone
- US 82 to Winona
- US 191 in various segments
- US 11 while concurrent with I-20
- Nowhere near US 90 (for another two months)

Mine remain the same, but after my trip last fall, I've now been on US highways in all 48 states that have them.
US 12
US 20.
The longest I have been on is US 50.
My top three are US183, US283, and US78.
US-12. Seems to be fairly popular.
