US 150 question near Springfield Kentucky.

I'm just curious why the KY DOT placed a roundabout in front of the old St Catherine College?

Roads clinched.
State Routes: Kentucky:  KY 208 KY 289 KY 555 KY 2154 KY 245 KY 1195

Must have been a history of wrecks there.

I remember when US 150 disappeared at Springfield. The first portion of the bypass was built from KY 555 extending east. When it was built, westbound 150 just sort of ended at 555. You had to use 555 to connect to existing 150 west of Springfield, but it was poorly signed.


Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.
