About time...  They had been building that interchange for like 8 years.

And here's pictures of the I-79 NB signs before they were changed to the one you see in the article.  All pictures taken on 08/22/09.

The WV way: Bulldoze several dozen houses through a small urban community because it's 5 whole minutes from the Interstate to downtown on a foggy day.

Actually it's been 10, according to WBOY-TV:

"County Route"? What kind of street name is that?

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

I drove this today. It is signed from I-79 to WV 310 and although the route continues across the Jefferson Street Bridge, it is not signed all the way to US 19 or US 250. There's an END sign at WV 310 but not one at I-79.

And there are two confounded blasted infernal roundabouts on the road.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Either way, it took way too long IMO. X-(

Good.  Fewer signals to deal with.

I'm not sure signals would have been needed where those roundabouts were. I can't imagine enough traffic on the cross streets to require signals. Stop signs on the side streets probably would have been sufficient.

Doubtful.  The signals were likely put in because projected traffic met at least one or more signal warrants.
