They actually do, but in 3 different locations due to MA 2 & 28 utilizing one-way streets. MA 28 Southbound intersects MA 2 at the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. & Clarendon St., MA 28 Northbound intersects MA 2 (its eastern terminus) at the intersection of Boylston & Charles Sts. & MA 2 Westbound orginates from MA 28 Northbound at the intersection of Charles & Beacon Sts.
