The date is currently 4/21.

Using all three of the digits in "421", post a highway sign photo that includes that number.  "421", "124", "142", "214", etc.

Rules:

  • Number doesn't necessarily have to be a shield; it could be an exit number, height restriction, mileage, whatever.
  • The three digits must occur logically together. You can't have a "US-2/SH-4: 1 Mile" sign, for instance. Things like 12' 4" are okay though because all the digits are part of the same numeric value. Use your judgment.
  • Repetition of the same photo is not permitted throughout the course of the game.
  • For dates like May 1, assume a zero: "5/01" You must still use all three digits. ("501", "105", "510", etc)
  • Times go by US Central time according to time.gov. Date changes at midnight Central time.
  • Use only your own photos, not those of Wikipedia, the shield gallery, state-ends, or whatnot. No street view or illustrations allowed.
  • Should this came continue past October, use of the fourth digit is optional.

Why Ten Chances? Two reasons: one, this is slightly based of the Price is Right game of the same name. Two, over the course of each 24 hour period, ten legal photos must be posted in order for the game to continue.

Good luck. Have fun.

I actually haven't watched TPIR in a couple of years, but you'd be surprised by how much the roadgeek community and game show fandom overlap...

Weather is another overlapping interest for the roadgeek community.

Surprisingly, there are no pictures of MD-214. Odd.

No illustrations! :verymad: (I might've taken a pic of a BGS with one while driving the outer Beltway Sunday afternoon and will probably upload it tonight if so.) Although we have the requisite 10 to carry on to tomorrow.
