But 605 isn't...

But that god-awful bubble shield... ugh!  :banghead:

If I owned a dam and decided to donate it to charity, would I be giving a dam? I'm sure that might be a first because no one really gives a dam.

rats, we don't even have a proper (21x18 or 42x36 '61 spec) 605 shield on the gallery!

here's a 30x25 '61 spec, which is just a bit disproportional compared to the two I just mentioned.

and here's a 21x18 ... with no state name!

somewhere I have a decent photo of a mainline 605 shield, 42x36.  Will need to upload it.

I have never seen a US-650 shield, so until I randomly find one, let us bask in the glory of the green Kansas US cutout.

Was US 650 eliminated because it was single-state?

This sign was still around in 2007 in Elliott County, Ky. It has since been replaced.

Thankfully New Jersey has something that works here...

Eeeek....In what alternate universe is Ohio shaped like that??  LOL

Here's a better shape (although the implementation is questionable...hehe)

Referencing the pic 2 posts above...

So, the exit to OH-682 gets a number & tab (Exit 17)...
But the other upcoming exits don't seem to be numbered.  (No tabs and the use of the word "Exit" next to the distance to exit)
Seems odd.
I don't have opinions anymore. All I know is that no one is better than anyone else, and everyone is the best at everything

That whole section of US-33 in the Athens area is signed in a strange manner.  Some exits have numbers, but most do not.  I'm not sure if they will number exits when the Nelsonville bypass completed by 2014.

Uh, hey guys? I count only nine pictures of 505 or 550 from yesterday. I do believe the game is over.

(remember, the 55's don't count!)

The rumor factory had it that that particular design along with it's 3-di mutant cousin, were the products of a deranged (and bitter) Michigan grad who tried to give Toledo back the That State Up North with that design......

I'm pretty sure that Michigan can just have Toledo now.  Of course, compared to Detroit, that would be an upgrade :)

You're both right on this one.  Still, it's a good way for some of us to show off some of our roads photos.
